Walk to a Well World Week!
- 17 Sep
STAFF and residents at Bupa's Saltshouse Haven Residential and Nursing Home are appealing to the local community to take part in a new walking initiative.
Bupa's Walk To A Well World week runs from today to Sunday, September 23.
It will promote the physical and mental health benefits of walking and hopes to inspire Bupa residents, staff and members of their communities to become more active.
The Saltshouse Road nursing home is stepping up and taking part in a memory walk on Friday, and is encouraging members of the local community to join in.
Home manager Janet Cooper said:
"We can all do our bit to promote healthy living, whether that's building a couple more steps into everyday routines or making sure you walk further than you usually do.
It's all about stepping up and doing that extra bit each day and we'd like as many people as possible to join us."
Call 0800 6004622 or e-mail email@example.com for further information about local Walk to a Well World events.
