Halton Housing Trust will now be offering temporary accommodation to people who are homeless in the borough of Halton.
The new service hopes to transform the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Halton, reports 24dash.
The temporary accommodation will support 39 residents and has been developed by Halton Housing Trust and will be run by the Salvation Army.
Brenan Lodge has been built to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere, where residents are encouraged to live independently in 36 en-suite flats.
Cllr Ron Hignett, Halton Borough Council’s executive board member for homelessness and housing strategy, said: “The scheme will not only provide much-needed safe and secure accommodation for local people experiencing homelessness, but will support them to go on and live independently.”
Mitch Menagh, head of homelessness for the Salvation Army, said: “We are looking forward to bringing transformation to people’s lives in Widnes. The Salvation Army has been at the heart of communities for 150 years, working with those who are vulnerable or most in need.”

Also like to hear other delegates examples and the responses to their difficulties. Support solutions are excellent. K.B- Jephson Housing Association
