The Social Investment Business is launching a pilot mentoring programme as part of its investee support programme.
We want to link business professionals with individuals from the social enterprises and charities that have received investment from one of our funds.
Our mentors will act as a critical friend to some of the most inspirational and committed people in the third sector, able to share skills and experiences with the ultimate goal of helping their organisations be successful and achieve their social aims.
It's a fantastic opportunity to inspire and to be inspired. Are you an experienced business professional looking for a new challenge?
We are looking for volunteers who have professional experience and expertise in a variety of areas: from consulting to accounting, marketing, HR or IT and more. You'll be good at communicating, have a track record of solving problems and experience of managing and leading people. Perhaps you've started your own business or helped those who have?
Whatever your professional background, we are looking for people who like a challenge, who are willing to listen and learn and who want to use their professional skills for good.
We'll provide you with all the support you need and all we ask from you is a commitment to meet regularly (initially, once a month) with your mentee over a mutually agreed period of time.
