Blogging to support people with their mental health
- 07 Nov
For many with mental health problems, they can find it hard to talk about what they're going through; however a new programme aims to put a stop to that.
Social Spider, with funding from Public Health England, is encouraging people suffering with their mental health to blog about their feelings for four days out of a year.
Whilst anyone can read these posts they will remain anonymous and people can search for blog posts via theme or category.
The aim of this project is to get people talking about mental health, and raise awareness of what it's like for people suffering with their mental health to find future ways to support them with their needs.
The first day in life begins today (Friday 7th November) and the project hopes to last for a year.
You can find out more about the Day in the Life project here.
