NEW CABINET APPOINTMENTS

There have been new cabinet appointments for Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Work and Pensions Secretary and Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
- Sajid Javid is returning to cabinet as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Development
- Damian Green has been made Work and Pensions Secretary and
- Greg Clark who was the former Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government is now Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
According to reports by 24Dash, the Director of Policy and External Affairs at the National Housing Federation, Gill Payne said:
"We welcome the appointment of Sajid Javid as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. The housing association sector looks forward to working with him to tackle the nation's housing crisis and help our housing association members to build more new homes."
