BRITAIN'S LEADING LANDLORD BODY HITS 30,000 MEMBERS

  • The private sector in the country has experienced growth with at least 30,000 members of the Residential Landlords Association.

The following are facts about the RLA:

    • Britain's leading landlord body was set up in 1998
    • It has experienced tremendous growth, with a total property portfolio of over 340,000 homes
    • The RLA has attended more than a hundred parliamentary meetings in the past year
    • They have found a voice while lobbying politicians in Westminster last year
    • They help to train landlords with 4,000 going through the ranks last year

The RLA said this while expressing thanks to their members:

"The RLA is now extending a huge thank you to all its members for helping the association become the leading voice for landlords across England and Wales."

Their Chairman, Alan Ward also said:

"This is a massive achievement for the RLA - and something we could only dream of when the association was first established almost 20 years ago..."

    Congratulations to the RLA!
