Support Worker at The Cambian Group

The Cambian Group, the UK's largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for dedicated, caring individuals to join the company as Support Workers.
Although experience is desirable don't worry if you're new to the career as full training is provided.

Cambian Elms is a 10 bed female unit, specialising in learning disabilities rehabilitation for women. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our organisation and make a significant contribution to the work that we do.
-To play an active role in the day to day care and support for the client group, whilst implementing care plans.
-To support activities and trips for patients. ·
-To assist with supporting patients with general life skills, to help them work towards moving to supported living in the community.
-To help the ladies to achieve their personal best.
Full induction training is given. You will also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and just like our client group you will be learning all the time through our on-going mentoring and support.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they are a strong team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a positive role model for our client-group. In addition, a full and clean current driving license would be ideal, with a willingness to drive company vehicles. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all you'll be someone with a genuine desire to help others.
Successful candidates will have to meet the person specification in order to be offered this post.
