Social care sector could benefit from new app
- 22 Oct
A new mobile solution for care management has been developed.
Residata and Emerald apps have created a mobile app aimed at helping the social care sector with its care management.
The system is currently available for deployment on Android mobile devices and provides a digital replacement to traditional paper-based methods of recording the outcomes of care and support visits, reports 24dash.
Support workers are able to plan their working day on the app, along with having access to relevant personal details which will allow them to view scheduled tasks for each services user/client. The outcomes from each visit will be recorded and then synchronised with a central database that is linked to the Residata management system.
The app aims to save time for care workers and support staff by removing the need to record information multiple times and also has the ability to make visit outcomes available during the working day, rather than at the end of the day.
What do you think of this? Do you think this could be a viable solution at reducing the time it take social workers to record visits?
