    Salary: £19,126 – £23,708 pa

    The Personal Budget Support Team works with older people, adults with a physical disability, adults with a learning disability and adults with mental health issues supporting them to stay as independent as possible. We work closely with Care Management Teams, Personal Budget Coordinators and external providers to ensure the delivery of quality, outcome focussed care and support to vulnerable people.

    We are seeking a Personal Budget Support Officer to assist vulnerable people to research, evaluate and explore their options to meet their identified support goal and to arrange these services providing the link between support planning, operational purchasing of social care and strategic commissioning.


    The Person

    You will need an aptitude for engaging with vulnerable people, professionals & other stakeholders to ensure quality service outcomes are delivered which put the individual at the centre of the process.

    You must have:

    • the ability to identify and prioritise risks
    • skills in gathering and analysing information
    • proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • ability to maintain effective and efficient partnerships
    • effective negotiation skills
    • be highly organised and flexible
    • possess good IT and typing skills
    • excellent team work skills
