Rental Markets in the East Midlands, West Midlands and East of England have become higher than ever
Average rents for homes to let across England and Wales have now reached £793 per month as of April 2016.
Rents in the East of England have seen a new all-time record of £848 in April, up 6.2% from last April; average rents in the West Midlands are also going over the £600 per month barrier.
On a month-on-month basis, this represents an increase of 0.3% or the fastest monthly rise since September 2015, according to the latest Buy-to-Let Index fromYour Move and Reed Rains and reports by 24 Dash.
This means 2.4% higher than at this same time last year; an extra £19 every month for the average tenant.
